Dear Kellogg Families,

It is a true honor to serve your children and you in the capacity of a principal. As we come together as a school community, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for your continued support and dedication. I strongly believe that when parents and school come together to educate children, extraordinary things happen. I am excited to be the proud principal of Kellogg Elementary, we have an amazing, caring staff that continuously strives to deliver the best education possible to all our students. My number one priority is to continuously improve the academic student achievement of our students.

As the leader of Kellogg Elementary, I will always ensure we provide the Social-Emotional support our students need to feel welcomed and safe at our school. I believe that when students feel safe and welcomed, only then students will be ready and happy to learn. Second, I will always provide support and coaching to my teachers so that we can deliver the best education possible to all our students. Last, I will ensure that all our staff prepares our students for the next level of education, middle school. My goal is to provide a solid foundation for our students so that they can be successful at middle school, high school, college, and life in general.

I will be ready to say hi to you and your students as I am out and about before and after school on a regular basis, joining the action on our playgrounds, or walking through our campus and classrooms. My goal is to engage students, teachers, and parents daily. Your presence and input are not only welcomed and encouraged, but an important component in ensuring that we set our students up for optimal success. Joining our Parent Teachers Association (PTA), School Site Council, English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC), becoming a special event participant are just a few easy ways to plug yourself into supporting our school community.

Thank you for choosing Kellogg Elementary as a place to educate your child. Please feel free to reach out with any questions, concerns, suggestions, or just to strike up a conversation! You can send me an email at any point in time at [email protected]  or call me at (619) 420-4151. My door is always open, and I am available to serve you.
